If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?
This is a great thought experiment, but let’s be real: If I never needed sleep, I would hope that the feeling of being exhausted, worn out, and tired would also disappear. If all the complaining and aching goes away, then I know exactly what I’d do with those extra hours every day!
Anyways.. I would focus my 24/7 time on these three things:
1. 📚 Pure Reading Bliss (and Zero Boredom)
This would be my number one activity. I would spend hours just reading. I love playing with my own imagination, and reading is the fastest way to travel and live different lives without leaving the house. When you read, you truly get into the writer’s mind, seeing the world through their eyes. And best of all? With unlimited time and energy, boredom would simply stop existing. There’s always another book, another story, another world to jump into.
2. 👶 Quality Time with the Kids (Without the Exhaustion)
Right now, handling children, especially young ones, is truly exhausting. It’s lovely, but draining! But if I never got tired, I could actually be fully present for them without wishing for bedtime. I could spend those extra late-night hours teaching them things, playing games, or just being there for them without feeling mentally or physically drained. That’s a huge win for any parent.
3. ✨ Deep Dive into Astrology
I would spend dedicated time learning something totally new and complex, like astrology. I’m not talking about just checking my daily horoscope! I mean really studying the birth chart (horoscope), understanding the different planets (like the Sun, Moon, and Mercury), the signs (like Leo, Aries), and the houses. It’s like learning a whole new symbolic language to understand personality and life patterns. That would take intense focus, and I’d finally have the hours to do it properly.

The Final Truth
But seriously, sleep is one of the greatest pleasures in this world! Even right now, my eyes feel heavy just thinking about a time when I could sleep. If the world ever took away the need for sleep, it must also take away all the fatigue and weariness. After all, we are all human beings; we need rest!
