One Month Left: Making Peace with 2025 Before We Say Hello to 2026 #Tuesdaythoughts

One Month Left: Making Peace with 2025 Before We Say Hello to 2026

The santa will arrived and then its new years ; 2026. What will you do at the edge of this year?

Introduction

Can you believe it is already November 25th? We are literally standing at the edge of the year. In just a few days, we will flip the calendar to December, and suddenly, the countdown to 2026 begins.

On this moody Tuesday, I found myself staring at my journal from January 2025. There were so many big plans, bold resolutions, and aesthetic goals. Looking at that list now, I have ticked off maybe half of them. The old me would have panicked. The old me would have felt like a failure.

But today’s #TuesdayThought isn’t about panic.. it’s about perspective. Yeah.

The “Unfinished Business” Anxiety

It is easy to fall into the trap of toxic productivity this time of year. Social media is flooded with posts about “finishing strong” and “grinding until the ball drops.” It makes us look at our unfinished projects, the blog we didn’t start, the weight we didn’t lose, the savings we didn’t reach, with a sense of guilt.

If you are feeling that heavy weight on your chest today, let me tell you this: You did enough.

I tell that to myself too. I did enough.

We often forget that life happens between our plans. Maybe you didn’t hit your career goal because you were busy healing from burnout. Maybe you didn’t travel the world because you needed to be present for your family. Those “invisible” achievements matter just as much as the visible ones.

Reframing Your Wins

Instead of obsessing over what you didn’t do in 2025, I challenge you to look at how you’ve changed.

  • Resilience: You navigated challenges this year that you didn’t see coming.
  • Growth: You likely know something today that you didn’t know in January.
  • Connections: Think of the people who made you smile this year.

Sometimes, the biggest win isn’t a trophy or a promotion; it’s the fact that you are still here, still trying, and still moving forward.

The Strategy for the Final 35 Days

So, what do we do with the remaining days of 2025? Do we rush to fix everything? No.

Here is my proposal for the last month of the year:

  1. Drop the guilt: Let go of the goals that no longer serve you. Write the blog or journal and post it.
  2. Pick ONE thing: Choose just one small, manageable task you want to complete by December 31st. It could be finishing a book, decluttering one room, or simply reconnecting with an old friend. For me. I will just finish my book. 1 day, 1 chapter.
  3. Rest: Allow yourself to slow down. You cannot pour into 2026 from an empty cup.
Bye bye.

Conclusion

As the rain pours outside today, take a deep breath. We have one month left. Let’s make it a month of kindness towards ourselves, not a month of stress. 2025 isn’t over yet, and there is still plenty of time to find joy in the little moments.

How are you feeling about the end of the year? Are you sprinting to the finish line or taking a slow walk? Let me know in the comments!
