ThrowBackTuesday: Conner Room Miniarture

Hello readers! 👋 So excited to share a peek at my newest creation: a miniature room corner I finished earlier this month!

This miniarture hobby has been a long-time passion of mine. In fact, I have two big loves that I’m still doing today: Miniature Dollhouse creation and Fiction Writing. These are the two major things I feel like I’ll be happily doing well into my retirement years! 👵✍️ Even that im still consider as young! nearrrrly 30th years old.

This little piece is my very first miniature corner: a scene featuring a rustic, not-so-grand antique bathroom. I call it ‘Charming Imperfection’! 😉

A little insight into the process!

For the sink and the bathtub, I sculpted them entirely from dry air clay 🛁. After drying, the real work began: smoothing out the details using a small grinder machine. Finally, they were treated with a special shiny finish to give that polished, antique ceramic look! It was a delicate but satisfying process.
