My Forever Favourites
My two children,one boy, one girl.. will forever be my favorite verses in the book of life. They are irreplaceable. To be a woman is one thing, but to be a Mother is a crown of its own, they are of me, they are mine, and every mother knows this fierce, undivided love.
Yet, I will not love them into weakness. I will love them into strength. My prayer is that they walk a path far brighter than the one my husband and I traveled. Let them be so saturated with love that when the world strikes hard, they know they can turn back to their Mommy. No walls. No barriers. Just a safe harbor.
A mother is the eternal ‘Plan A’ when life happens, a refuge that never closes. But a mother also knows when to open her hands, letting her children choose their own horizons.
Seasons may fade, and people will change. But my children? They will remain, eternally, my children.
One I keep safe from afar.
Lilly here and Dayyan there,
Wrapped inside my endless prayer.
My sun, my moon, my everything,
The greatest joy my life could bring.
